What to expect during a session
One way that we can describe the process we go through in our sessions is to liken it to a 100m hurdle race. The purpose of kinesiology is to find out what the unconscious hurdles are, AND provide a method for either going over them or moving them out of the way entirely.
What some people have told us after hearing this analogy (and then experiencing Kinesiology) is that it sounds like Kinesiology provides a unique opportunity to find out, and work with, those things that stop us achieving our goals. One of our clients once told us that he believes that Kinesiology is the missing link in the goal setting and achieving process.
We use normal goal setting processes to gain specificity and find the direction to take, then we use Kinesiology to make sure that we have unconscious as well as conscious agreement. This improves congruence and increases performance.
Don't take our word for it, read what one of our clients sent us:
"I came to see George when I was in the middle of a break up with my long term partner. I wanted to move on and feel good about the future, as well as let go of the old habits and feelings that I was struggling with. After only 2 sessions I felt much better and was looking forward to each day. What surprised me more was that everything at work also improved.
I must say that I was sceptical at first, and I can't pretend that I understand how Kinesiology works, only that it does, and quickly. I can compare my experiences to having seen a counsellor, and there is almost no comparison worth making; I got more benefit from two sessions with George than from 20 counselling sessions. I happily recommend this to anyone who is experiencing a lot of change."
